Williams had actually given Power of Attorney to her son, Kevin, which the courts took away and gave to this lawyer/guardian. At one time her sister also had authority over her medical care. There are a lot of moving pieces and it appears her family is slowing starting to get a grip on what has happened. The good part is that guardianships are reviewed annually to see if they are still needed and working. Hopefully this documentary helps Wendy's family to regain guardianship and can take her back to Miami.
